Education Programs
1. Summer/Winter Holidays Chinese Language Program
The curriculum and the term of this program is flexible to meet all kinds of needs. The duration of the Summer/Winter Holidays Chinese Language Program is 2 months. The basic Chinese courses and Chinese culture lessons are provided. The basic courses for this program include intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading, writing, HSK counseling and Chinese Culture. Besides, there are a variety of elective courses such as Chinese culture, Chinese history, folk dance, calligraphy, painting, the art of tea ceremony, Chinese martial arts (kung fu), Tai Chi. What’s more, during weekends the students will be organized to have trips to some beautiful sights such as Xuchang Spring House, Shaolin Temple, Mt. Song etc.
2. One-semester (or shorter) Chinese Language Program

The basic courses for this program include intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading, writing, HSK counseling and Chinese Culture. Besides, there are a variety of elective courses such as Chinese culture, Chinese history, folk dance, calligraphy, painting, the art of tea ceremony, Chinese martial arts (kung fu), Tai Chi. What’s more, during weekends the students will be organized to have trips to some beautiful sights such as Xuchang Spring House, Shaolin Temple, Mt. Song etc.

At the end of the course all the students take a HSK testing. They're provided with an official HSK certificate of the rank corresponding to the level of their language proficiency.
3. One-year (or two years) Chinese Language Program
The courses’ studying length is divided by term. The students can opt for spring term or fall term to enroll. The basic courses for this program include intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading, writing, HSK counseling and Chinese Culture. Besides, there are a variety of elective courses such as Chinese culture, Chinese history, folk dance, calligraphy, painting, the art of tea ceremony, Chinese martial arts (kung fu, wushu), Tai Chi. What’s more, during weekends the students will be organized to have trips to some beautiful sights such as Xuchang Spring House, Shaolin Temple, Mt. Song etc.

4. Four-year (or three-year) Major Study Program (Bachelor Degree)
The University provides different disciplines for international students who meet the requirements of school entrance. Courses are offered according to students’majors at the college and mostly taught in Chinese. Some selected courses are conducted in English.
Due to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China all the applicants for the Bachelor degree study program must have at least 180 points of HSK-4 for the successful enrollment.
For obtaining required level of Chinese language one additional language year might be advised. Please refer to section 3 for details.
